The Aurora Borealis was visible over the German Baltic Sea in spring of 2024 as one of the strongest solar storms of the last 20 years happened.
It is quite rare to see the aurora here in northern Germany this strong and especially right above our heads. Usually we can see the aurora that is happening over Oslo on the horizon if it is strong enough. But happening right over Kiel was wild and a truly amazing experience!
